The Osteoporotic Virtual Physiological Human Newsletter: December 2011 issue

Dear colleagues, partners and friends of the VPHOP Project:
as I wrote these three lines I am getting ready to attend the rehearsal for our third review meeting, that will take place next 16th January 2012. The work has been frenetic, with the overlapping of the third year milestones (way too many), the XMas holidays, and the natural piling up of small delays all lover the projects that are now forming some consistent retards, that need to be properly managed.

Still, I am very positive regards this review, because I honestly thing we have collectively done and excellent work. VPHOP Technology, even in its prototypical and half-baked status, is the most advanced in the world with this clinical scope. The potential of what we are putting together is impressive.

I hope the review meeting will be as positive as I think; we shall cover it extensively in the next newsletter. Meanwhile let me thank you all, and in particular Matteo and all the younger researchers at the various partner sites that made possible the completion of some many excellent deliverable in the holidays period.

Cheers,
Marco Viceconti, VPHOP Project coordinator
