COST B21 ‘Physiological Modelling of MR Image Formation’ is a concerted action funded by the European Commission under the COST programme (administered by the European Science Foundation). There are 20 countries involved in the action.It’s aim is to utilise the capabilities of MRI in measurement of tissue parameters to allow the modelling of human body function. To this end, MRI techniques and image analysis software are under collaborative development with multicentre testing. The project runs until the end of 2007.
