The STEP action was presented at the ISBI2006 special session on vertical integration of biomedical data
STEP:
A Strategy for the EuroPhysiome, the
coordination action aiming to write the European roadmap to the Virtual
Physiological Human, has been presented at 2006 IEEE
International Symposium on Biomedical Imaging: From Nano to Macro
held on 6-9 April, 2006 in Airlington, Virginia, U.S.A., during a
special session entitled Towards
Vertical Integration of Biomedical Data organised
by Alex Frangi, Peter Hunter and Marco Viceconti in collaboration with
the Dana Brooks.
The session was inteded to provide an opportunity for comparing European and American experiences, and to explore eventual synergies.
The presentation, entitled The Virtual Physiological Human: Challenges and Opportunities was presented by Randy Thomas, Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique - LaMI, STEP Consortium Partner.
