Biomed Town hosts a new web page dedicated to the LHDL fat client, the LhpBuilder software.
A fundamental component of the LHDL Project is the software application called LhpBuilder. This is a specialised application developed by the LHDL Consortium using the OpenMAF application framework will be distributed free of charge to all LHDL users. It will make possible to import any kind of biomedical information digital form, fuse it, and share it on the Living Human Digital Library with the other researchers interested to the same topic.
While the first prototype of LHDL is currently under construction and should be announced in a few months, he first release of LhpBuilder is already available for alpha testing. From the LhpBuilder home page any interested Biomed Town citizen will be able to access to:
- Software development status
- Software latest release
- Software documentation
- Software nightly releases
- Bug tracker
- User/Developer forum
LhpBuilder replaces the freeware knwon as Multimod Data Manager, originally developed as part of the Multimod Project, and taht is still used in various labs around the world as data fusion tool. We reccomend all Data Manager users to start experimenting with LhpBuilder and to report any bug or missing functionality, as LhpBuilder will slowly replace Data Manager, that will not be developed any further.
