In addition to informal discussions with Commission representatives and other parties outside the formal sessions, he made two presentations describing STEP activities at the Networking sessions.
The first was in the session Emerging eHealth Technologies, Cross-Cutting RTD Needs and Health Policy Priorities organised by the eHealth-ERA project, and the second was in the session A Roadmap towards a European HealthGrid, organised by the SHARE project. Discussions will continue with both of these projects.
In the following week, he attended the 16th International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence (ICAT 2006), in Hangzhou (China) on 28 November-1 December, where he presented a keynote lecture
On his return to Europe, he made a presentation about the STEP project to the Journé d'Information sur l'EuroPhysiome/VPH organised by GdR STIC-Santé in Paris on 6 December.
