eHealth Week 2010
From the 15th to 18th of March 2010, Barcelona will be host to "eHealth Week 2010" where for the first time, in the same place and during the same week, the two most important European events in eHealth will take place: The High Level eHealth Conference and World of Health IT (WoHIT).
The High Level eHealth Conference gathers 27 Health Ministers of the European Union to analyse the state of the implementation of e-Health. This Conference will take place from March 15 - 18 under the name of "eHealth for sustainable healthcare: global innovations through local actions" with Ministerial meetings and a rich programme of the most innovative projects developed by the E.U. in Europe. The conference is by invitation only from the Spanish Presidency.
Alongside this, from March 16 - 18, the WoHIT (World of Health IT) will take place. This event is a meeting point for the ICT industry, healthcare institutions and professionals, and offers a broad programme of talks and round tables, as well as the opportunity for companies to present the latest technological innovations in an exhibition that will allow us to see the transformation and improvement of healthcare resulting from the use of ICT. The eHealth week 2010 promises to be the central European event of the year in the ICT for health sector. It is expected to receive more than 2,500 attendees from around the world and more than 80 companies of the sector in an exhibition area of 7,500 square meters in the Barcelona Forum International Convention Centre (CCIB).For further details go to the Conference website
