WTEC report on System Biology
The World Technology Evaluation Center published a report entitled "Assessment of International Research and Development in Systems Biology".
The report Assessment of International Research and Development in Systems Biology, commissioned by NSF, DARPA, NASA, NCI, NIBIB, etc. to the World Technology Evaluation Center (WTEC), was published in October 2005.
The goal of this study was to gather information about worldwide status and trends in biological systems - "Network Behavior in Biological Systems" - and to disseminate it among government decision makers and the research community. They have visited and reported on the work done in a number of EU centres, e.g., Sheffield, Hinxton, Oxford, UCL, etc. In connection with this topic, a summary of some of the EC funded projects is also available.
