1. SOFTWARE WITH USER-FRIENDLY INTERFACE FOR SIMULATION IN MOLECULAR BIOLOGY (PARAMETER STIMATION, TESTING HYPOSTESES)

Details: our department (Dept. Medical Informatics and Biophysics) has an experience of over 20 years in using computer simultaions of regulatory processes in molecular biology. Our last grant from the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences (2004-2006) was entitled: Bio-View a sofware package with dedicated interface for computer simulations in systems biology. 2.     BUILDING MODELS FOR BLOOD PRESSURE REGULATION

Details: the collaboration with Department of Physiology and with two SMEs (Biosign Technologies Inc, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, www.biosign.com and Gamma Research Center for Bioinformatics, Timisoara, Romania www.gammacenter.ro) was oriented towards modeling blood pressure regulation and advanced techniques for pulse wave recording and  processing.


EVEN OUR EXPERIENCE IN INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION IS STILL MODEST, WE THINK WE CAN BE GOOD PARTNERS IN RESEARCH CONSORTIA APPLYING FOR PROJECTSWITHIN THE SECOND CALL OF FP7
