DESCRIPTION:The aim of this workshop is to present preliminary results
  of this ESF Forward Look (download) to scientific communities and tec
 hnical stakeholders not yet involved in this foresight exercise. We wi
 ll also discuss improvement to the preliminary report and possible con
 tributions of HPC centres and Vendors for developing\, supporting and 
 promoting an infrastructure focused on Scientific Application Software
 . This infrastructure includes also ‘human’ aspects (e.g. training
 ) and standardisation related to software. We call this infrastructure
  Complementary CyberInfrastructure because it is the necessary complem
 ent to hardware to burst computational science.
