The Symposium will be organized in collaboration with the Technical University of Crete and it will take place in Chania, Crete. The program will consist of invited lectures and paper presentations covering the latest research and developments in the field of Biomedical Engineering.
Papers are invited to be submitted in all Biomedical Engineering areas including: Biomechanics and Biomaterials; Biomedical Engineering Education and Training; Biomedical Instrumentation and Measurements; Biomedical Signal and Image Processing; Computer Analysis, Modeling and Simulation; Clinical Engineering; Health Care Telematics and Information Systems; Health Care Technology Assessment; Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy; Tissue, Cellular and Molecular Engineering; Rehabilitation Engineering.
The Symposium, directly linked to the European Postgraduate Course on Biomedical Engineering, organized at the University of Patras since 1990 in collaboration with 25 other European Universities, aims to provide the right environment for exchange of ideas and experience between the members of the Biomedical Engineering community in Europe.
