 • Second ICT-BIO conference - dates

Posted by Marco Viceconti at 2008-01-21 11:33
Dear Colleagues:
the European Commission is considering the organisation of of a
second issue of the ICT-BIO conference, jointly organised by DGINFSO
and DGRESEARCH.
http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/ict_bio_2006/index_en.htm

The details are still under discussion, but I guess as usual it will
represent a top-level event, and will provide an opportunity of
concertation among the recently selected VPH projects, as well as an
opportunity for the expansion of the international relationship with
similar initiatives in USA, Japan, China, etc.

The EC is considering as tentative period is the second half of
October. I have been contacted informally in order to verify which
dates in that period do not constitute a conflict with other events
that could be of interest for the perspective participants. The
Biomed Town events page does not reports any event in that period:
http://www.biomedtown.org/events/

However, if any of you is aware of other events that could conflict
with ICT-BIO II, please inform me as soon as possible, so that we can
log them in Biomed Town and forward the information to the EC.

Regards

what immortal hand or eye could frame thy fearful symmetry?
