Dear Colleague:
we write you because you expressed interested in the past for the Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) concept promoted by the STEP co-ordination action.

This is to inform you that as part of the prestigious biennial congress of the European Society of Biomechanics, the organisers decided to include a special session entirely dedicated to studies related to the VPH, the physiome, and multiscale modelling of biological systems.

This is a recognition that this topics are becoming mainstream in our research fields.

As scientific coordinator of the STEP action I strongly suggest to consider submitting an abstract on your researches related to the above topics. If you are interested, the online submission is accessible from here:

Please notice the deadline for abstract submission is 30 November 2007, so not much time is left.

In the submission please make sure the keyword VPH appears, to facilitate an appropriate categorisation of your work.
