I agree with your list of points, but I repeated my yesterday comment I sent by email: before using this forum tool, we should make sure everybody can access it.

For example, myselve have no idea how to get here from the root of BiomedTown.org (I actually used the link sent to us by plain email) ...

A few lines of help would be nice !

Cheers,

Following Serge's message, I got an email telling me about it, which is good, but none of the two links the email contains works. I get the well-known (?) "404 Not Found" page.

I apologise for the technical clitches some of you are experiencing with the biomed town infrastructure.  Please understand STEP is the first group using it, so we are kind of beta testers.

I would ask all remaining partners to aknowledge they agree with the list of actions I proposed, here repated:

-  we reach a consensus on the name of the core experts to be invited

-  we invite them

-  meanwhile we work on a consensual definition of the basic terms involved

- We agree on an output template for the strand discussions

- We start the strand forums

STEP is producing a significant workload already.  Thus, it is important we partition a bit the schedule.  I would appreciate if you could follow this scheme:

Technical problems with any service of Biomed Town, including simple instructions on how to: write a personal email to webmaster@biomedtown.org.

Administrative problems: write an email to Gordon Clapworthy

Scientific issues: post them to this forum, or write an email to Marco Viceconti

Any other business: write an email to Annalisa Bandieri, the Scientific Secretary of the project.
