The SimBios Project
The Simbios project aims to establish a National Center for Physics-Based Simulation of Biological Structures (Simbios) to help integrate the field of physics-based modeling in biomedicine and accelerate future research. The main goal is the development of an Open Source toolkit (simTK <https://simtk.org/xml/index.xml>) that will enable biomedical scientists to develop and share accurate models and simulations of biological structures from atoms to organisms.
