The Future of MAF: Round Table
Developers, users, and prospects meet in Bologna to define the specifications for the future version of the Multimod Application Framework.
Scope
A one-day public round table with the most important stakeholders of the OpenMAF initiative and of related endeavours, to address the long-term strategies for the Multimod Application Framework.
The round table is intended as a moment of discussion and of confrontation, as well as of a first step in the process that will end with the release of MAF version 3. The meeting will see the participation of groups that actively contribute to the development of OpenMAF, or use it in their own research activities. It will also involve researchers that are developing similar or related software tools, as well as interested industrial stakeholders. To some of the participants will be asked to give a brief presentation on their experience and of their vision for MAF; then we shall have an open discussion moderated by Marco Viceconti, technical director of the B3C.
