LHP membership application

To be enrolled in the Living Human Project and gain access to the Living Human Digital Library repository you should follow these steps:

• If you're not a Biomed Town citizen yet, you should first apply to join it. Rember to fill the form with your institutional contact information; do not use public email services such as Yahoo or Gmail. A Biomed Town City Manager will approve your application as soon as possible, and you will be informed via email.
• Once you are a Biomed Town citizen submit your application to join the LHDL Users Group. Your application will be evaluated by the LHDL Building manager, who will contact you to collect additional information, and if eligible, grant you full acess.

Access restrictions

Please consider that until 31 December 2008 the Living Human Digital Library will be under development. During this period some restrictions may apply to the access of the LHDL resources.

LHDL first prototype does not allow the user to define an access policy for his/her own data. This means that any other user with access rights can download every dataset loaded onto LHDL. Because of this in the present initial phase we shall be forced to grant access only to those groups that intend to deploy on the library a collection of data worth roughly the equivalent of the data that the LHDL partners plan to deploy.

After your application we shall contact you and discuss the details. Once finalised your application will have to be approved by the LHDL Consortium, and might require you to sign a license agreement.
