Strategic Development of European Networks in Biomechanics (BIONET)
This concerted action, funded under the EU Fifth Framework Programme was aimed to take advantage of a beneficial coincidence of events to create one (or, more probably, several) Working Groups in biomechanics, particularly in computational biomechanics, that hsould have indicated possible directions of research, and better collaboration strategies. The most important consensus document for the following networking activities was the Workgroup B Consensus paper, which elaborates the concept of Virtual Laboratory.
